40% of people won’t make a purchase if the website isn’t in their language, even if they know the website’s language. Customer acquisition is already expensive, and providing services in only one language will only make it even more difficult.
So in 2023, localizing your content is more important than you think.
We know that most of our users have been utilizing our Segmentation capabilities to provide onboarding materials in multiple languages, but recreating, maintaining, and tracking many versions of the same material was very difficult.
We heard you, and we are happy to introduce the perfect solution to this problem:
You can now use the Localization feature to offer materials in different languages with minimum effort. 🤩
To use the feature, simply add the different languages that your platform supports, then go ahead and activate Localization for a Guide or a Hotspot through their Settings.
The Localization feature is already included in our Professional and Corporate Plans, so if you are using our Basic Plan you can either upgrade or add Languages as an add-on.
We know that having so many guides or other materials can cause much pain and confusion while trying to navigate through them.
Now, with our new Material Tagging capability, you can easily create custom tags for your purposes and assign them to any material you want.
You can create tags for anything and everything you need, whether it is the name or code of the responsible person, the project, or a part of the product. The tags you create will help you group, filter, and edit your materials easier than ever.
Our latest - and long-awaited - integration is here:
Now you can start sending your UserGuiding interaction data to Amplitude, a platform that helps you analyze user data in real-time to identify trends and understand user behavior.
👉 By activating the Amplitude integration, you can now analyze and target the user onboarding experience you created with UserGuiding more deeply.
👉 By setting up onboarding, activation, and retention funnels in Amplitude, you can also test and adjust your Guides for these metrics.
We also support ‘EU Data Residency’ option for your projects on EU Servers. Find out more about it in our Help Center!
We have enhanced and created a more robust integration, in partnership with Mixpanel. We’re also offering EU Server option now.
See here for details on what to do to change your Mixpanel integration and get even more value out of it.
You now have the option to not display a completion animation when an end-user finishes a checklist. You can set it up from Checklists > Settings > Customize > Completion Animation
Some of the dropdown menus on our Chrome Extension and Panel didn’t have a search bar function, making it difficult to find what you need among many options. That problem has been fixed, and those menus also have a search bar now, making it much easier for you to find the exact item you want to select.
We have a character number limitation for input fields on our Panel for visual and performance-related reasons. This limitation was causing minor issues for some of our users, so we now implemented visual feedback showing the remaining character limit once you have less than 30 left.
We added a new permission type called “Subscription Management” that allows users to make changes to the subscription settings of the account. Users without this permission will not be able to take actions such as adding/changing credit card info, changing plans, and managing plan add-ons, making it safer and easier to add new teammates to the panel.
