We’ve just released Access Control for Knowledge Base and Product Updates, giving you full control over who can view your support and announcement content. You can now choose to hide entire Knowledge Bases or Product Updates pages—or selectively restrict access to specific articles or posts. This means sensitive updates or internal documentation can stay protected, while public content remains open and visible.
From internal release notes to customer-specific documentation, the possibilities for tailored content access are wider than ever—think beta feature updates, partner-only resources, region-specific announcements, or internal team guides, all managed securely from one place.
Access can be managed through User Identity Verification—ideal if you're already tracking user sessions—or by setting up an Email & Password login wall. You can use one or both methods to authenticate end-users before they view protected content. The feature is available on Growth and Enterprise plans, and ensures your users only see the content that’s meant for them.

We’ve also added support for activating your UserGuiding container code on your standalone Knowledge Base and Product Updates page URLs. This means you can now use all your UserGuiding materials—guides, hotspots, checklists, resource centers, surveys, and the AI Assistant widget—directly on these pages. It’s a simple way to create a more unified and interactive experience, even on your external-facing support and update pages.
